Green tourmaline and diamond ring. A beautifully coloured deep green tourmaline is framed by 12 bead set diamonds. The tourmaline is a great, forest green colour and is held in place with wider claws on each of it's four corners. Each of the single cut diamonds are held in small claws with a polished ridged between the diamonds. The top of the setting is white gold with a pinched gold band meeting the top and widening to a D shape profile at the back. This particular one is a lovely deep green. Tourmaline is the birthstone for October. Circa 1970s, British in origin.

Tourmaline: rectangular shape, step-cut, measures approx 6.15 mm by 4.95 mm. Calculated in setting as 0.67 carats.

Diamonds: 12, single cut, approx 0.08 carats total.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in London, date letter for 1976.
