Stunning French two-tone gold fringe necklace. A beautiful example of French jewellery with stylish flowers and geometric angles. The theme is sweet with gold shapes, which look a wee bit heart shaped or triangular just depending on the viewer. To the centre of each of these are views of gold and white gold ribbons which widen toward the edges and have a forked end. These ribbons alternate in colour really drawing the eye to them. In the top centre, prime position, is a gorgeously crafted rose. Art Deco to mid century design abounds with this piece! Strong bold lines with softened angles and delicately detailed flowers. At the ends of this design is a flared two tone shape. This connects to a paper clip style chain which is flat so the lean polished faces catch the light and gleam. Circa 1920s - 1940s, French in origin.
