Antique French pearl drop earrings. Kidney shaped ear wires end in a circle set with a single pearl. The base of the circle is articulated and the lower oval drop is beautifully designed. The outer hoop reminds me of a picture frame. It's lightly adorned with engraving and has a leaf shaped design to the top and bottom. Graduated pearls are set into pinched mountings down the centre. These are light weight earrings which have a great shiny finish with matte accents. Circa 1900, French in origin.

Hallmarked with the eagle, the French mark for 18 carat gold. Professionally tested and assessed at 18 carat gold. The gold is slightly rosy in hue.
