This is a very glamorous necklace dating to the mid 20th century. Emerald cut glass rhinestones are set in silver tone metal all the way the length of this necklace. The effect is stunning! Each rhinestone is set in a closed back silver toned metal setting with a prong holding them in place on each corner. This necklace fastens with a large fold over style clasp. Circa 1940s - 1950s.

Some of the rhinestones have discoloured slightly with age which is visible on close inspection but not generally visible when worn (and if someone is looking that closely the colour of the rhinestones is not on their mind, darling!). Overall this necklace is in very good condition.
