Edwardian style opal drop pendant in 9 carat yellow gold filigree. This pendant is modelled from yellow gold with swirling wires framing a bezel set opal cabochon. At the bottom is a pear shape oval which is articulated so that it can swing freely. This pendant is on a narrow 9 carat yellow gold curb chain which is 45.5 cm / 18 inches long. Dates to the second half of the 20th century, chain is modern.

Opals: 2 total, cabochon cut. 1 oval is approx 6 mm by 4.5 mm. 1 pear is approx 5.3 mm by 3.8 mm.

Stamped 375 for 9 carat gold, professionally tested and assessed as such.

Measures approx 3.86cm / 1.52 inches long by 1.8cm / 0.70 inches wide.

Pendant and chain together weigh 3 grams.
