Exquisite bangle bracelet dating to the Edwardian period. This bracelet is crafted in 9 carat yellow gold and shows stunning craftsmanship. The front section is decorated while the back half that is on the wrist is left unadorned. Twisted rows of gold rope loop line the top and bottom edges and the top is decorated with a beaded design to form flowers. The top section has a matte finish. Circa 1900s, British in origin.
The bracelet snaps closed and has an attached safety chain. The oval shape fits the shape of the wrist perfectly and makes it very comfortable to wear. There is a historical repair to the inside at the centre, back. It does not show from the outside or when worn, please see photos.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, Birmingham, 1907. Marker's mark of WC & Co.
