Antique 9 carat gold chain with coral bead spacers. This by the yard style necklace is a very wearable length. Gold wire is looped around to create elongated figure eight style links. These are in pairs along the length of this necklace with a single coral bead between them. The gold is yellow in colour with the coral provides a nice, delicate contrast. This is an easy to wear necklace and looks great dressed up with a black dress or layered for a more casual look. Circa 1870s, British in origin.

Coral beads: 10, approx 6.4 mm each. Natural, orange-red in colour with some light and darker spots and lines visible on close inspection.

Stamped 9ct on clasp. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout.
