This is a classic Art Deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Set in the middle is a brilliant blue square cut sapphire framed in a platinum topped bezel. The sapphire is a bright, vivid medium blue in colour. To either side is an old European cut diamond in a delicate platinum topped yellow gold bezel setting. The combination of sapphire and diamonds is a lovely one. This is a simple and elegant ring, perfectly suited as an engagement ring. Circa 1920s, British in origin.

Sapphire: medium, vivid blue square cut. About 3.2 mm, estimated in setting as 0.20 carats.

Diamonds: 2, early round brilliant cut, estimated in setting as 0.12 carat together, J / K colour, VS clarity.

Hallmarked 18 ct Plat.  This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with the edges around the gemstones topped in platinum.

Size: UK - K 1/4; US - 5 3/8; EU - 50 1/2. This ring can be size down to a I / 4.5 or made several sizes larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.
