These diamond stud earrings are a classic jewellery staple.  Each antique old miner cut diamond is set in six prong settings in 18 carat white gold.  The old mine cut diamonds were hand cut around the mid to late 1800s and have a wonderful old world charm about them! Their outline is slightly irregular, not perfect round like modern diamonds, and they have high crowns, small tables, and larger open culets.  These diamonds have been set in more modern settings which hold them securely in 6 claws with a small open decoration in the side of each setting.

Diamonds: 2 old mine cut are estimated in setting as 0.40 carats total weight, 3.7 mm each. I / J colour, and I clarity.

The settings are more modern and are hallmarked for 18 carat gold on the posts and clutches.  The backs are slightly different from each other, something that is not generally noticeable, especially not when these earrings are being worn!

Measure 4.3 mm wide and sit about 6 mm high off the ear.
