An incredibly elegant sapphire and diamond Art Nouveau engagement ring. This ring is jaw dropping. The shape is soft and flowing with rows of milgrain adorning the entire top of this ring. The square shaped, step cut blue sapphire is set at an angle so that it's corners are to the north, south, east and west. It's framed by a single row of milgrain. At the edges of the top are two little diamonds, one on each side. The diamonds are bead set into the platinum top with lines of milgrain connecting them to the sapphire set in the middle. This ring is set low to the finger and the width across the finger makes it both easy to wear and quite noticeable! Circa 1910s - 1920s, British in origin.

Sapphire: bright blue square step cut, measures approx 3.6 mm square and is estimated in setting as 0.30 carats.

Diamonds: 2, single cut, approx 0.01 carats together.

Hallmarked as 18ct Plat. This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with the sapphire and diamond set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - M; US - 6 3/8; EU - 52 3/4. This ring can be sized down to K / 5.3 or made several sizes larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Top measures 8.34 mm by 14.85 mm and rises 3.5 mm tall off the finger.
