Art Deco white guilloche enamel locket by David Andersen. This double sided sterling silver locket has a gorgeous target pattern. Guilloche is made by carving a pattern into the silver and then enamelling, a coloured glass power which flows and forms hard when fired, over the top to allow the pattern underneath to show through. Both sides are the same and in excellent condition.
The interior of this locket has a gilt, gold wash, a lovely contrast to the white of the exterior. There are two fitted frames and a mark for the maker David Andersen. There are no photo coverings. Circa Art Deco era, mid 1910s - mid 1930s.
Stamped 925 on the interior with a maker's mark for David Andersen. Professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver with a gilt finish to the interior.
