Gorgeous synthetic ruby and diamond engagement ring dating to the Art Deco era. This ring is striking! A beautifully coloured lab created square shaped, step cut ruby is bezel set in a milgrain lined mounting. Framing the ruby are four small old single cut diamonds. Stretching out from the square centre
shape are flanking rose cut diamonds. The cluster is small and sit low to the finger and the contrast of the pinkish red ruby and white diamonds is a lovely one.
Ruby: synthetic, square shape, step cut, approx 2.5 mm. Synthetics were common in the Art Deco era when the new, fashionable scientific achievements were valued over mined gemstones.
Diamonds: 2 rose cut of approx 1.4 mm, and 4 single cut of approx 0.8 mm.
Stamped 18ct & Pt. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the very top edge in platinum.
