A sleek and stylish diamond engagement ring crafted in platinum. Dating to the mid 20th century, a bright and sparkling 0.60 carat old European cut diamond glitters from between a pair of bar set tapered baguette cut diamonds. The old cut diamond is wonderful, set in a great fishtail triple claw design prongs. The step cut baguette diamonds are a great contrast to the centre diamond. Circa 1920s - 1930s.
In excellent condition.
Diamonds: centre old European cut measuring approx 5.26 mm to 5.30mm by 3.30 mm and calculated as 0.60 carats, G / H colour, SI2 / SI3 clarity. The grade setting inclusion is a white feather which I cannot see with my naked eye, we captured it in the second listing photo. Two tapered baguette cut diamonds measuring approx 4 mm by 1.5 mm calculated as 0.20 together, G / H colour, SI clarity. All diamonds were assessed within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped IRID PLAT, though marking is somewhat faded from wear. Professionally tested and assessed as platinum.
