Art Deco onyx and diamond panel ring in 18 carat gold. This is a lovely Art Deco ring featuring a large, elegantly shaped piece of onyx with diamonds set to the top and bottom. In the middle is a small old cut diamond set in a five petaled flower shape. Along the top and top are clusters of three diamonds, each set in a marquise shaped setting. Each grouping of diamonds follows the arched shape of the onyx. This onyx ring is long and narrow, elongating the finger of the wearer. The gemstones are all set in white gold with the shoulders topped in white gold. From the top this gives the impression of this ring being all white metal. The shank or back of the band is 18 carat yellow gold. Circa 1920s.

Diamonds: 7 total. Centre is approx 0.12 carats, pale brown in colour. Total carat weight estimated in setting as 0.14 carats.

Hallmarked 18ct and tested as 18 carat gold.
