Art Deco geometric shape diamond engagement ring. This ring is very bold and stylish in design. The four centre diamonds are each set into their own square shape lined in a double row of milgrain beading. The diamond shape is set at an angle with the points to the north, south, east and west. Triple rows of diamonds make an elegant step design on either side of the diamond shape. An engraved beaded design adorns the steps making it seem as though there are smaller diamonds set into the setting. This ring dates to the 1920s - 1930s and is British in origin.
Diamonds: 10, single cut, estimated in setting as 0.13 carats total weight.
Marked 18ct Plat. This ring is mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.
