Original Art Deco French cut sapphire eternity ring. This ring is set with 45 French cut natural blue sapphires in a narrow channel setting. French cut stones are square in shape with the table or top facet at a 90 degree angle to the girdle or widest section of the gemstone. The sides of this slender ring are beautifully engraved with a repeating foliate style pattern. I love the striking and unexpected amount of detail. A lot of thought and workmanship went into this ring! The squared profile, flat top and sides, allow this ring to stack nicely with other rings. Circa 1930s.

Sapphires: 45, French cut, approx 1.25 mm square each, estimated in setting as 0.90 carats total weight.

Not hallmarked, tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - M 1/2; US - 6 1/2; EU - 16.9. This ring cannot be sized.

Measures approx 1.85 mm wide and rises 1.7 mm tall off the finger.
