Antique emerald ring with a diamond halo dating to the early 20th century. A beautiful green emerald has been set into a platinum topped ring. Around the emerald is a frame of eight single cut diamonds with milgrain beading weaving between the gemstones. The diamonds are pave set with the edge of this ring dipping between of the diamonds creating a ruffled edge square top. This emerald and diamond ring is set on a narrow 18 carat gold band. Circa 1910s - 1920s, British in origin.
Emerald: rectangular, step-cut, approx 4.3 mm by 3 mm, calculated in setting as 0.22 carats.
Diamonds: 10, eight cut / single cut, approx 0.20 carats total weight.
Stamped 18ct PT, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
Size: UK - N; US - 6 3/4; EU - 17.1. This ring can be sized several sizes larger or smaller. Sizing is available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 9 mm by 7.6 mm and stands 3.25 mm tall off the finger.
Weighs 2.65 grams.
