Art Deco trilogy diamond engagement ring. Three diamonds are set in a beautiful platinum illusion setting. Each of the diamonds is embedded into an engraved platinum setting. The setting is a stunning example of the beautiful work that jewellers were doing in the early to mid 20th century. The average young couple may have been able to afford a diamond ring and a modest one, representing where they were in their lives, set to protect the precious gems and make them look larger was just the thing! The yellow gold band is half round in shape with a curved outside and flat interior and tapers near the diamonds to make the diamond settings stand out.
This ring is in great condition and looks to be hardly worn. We've come into possession of several Art Deco diamond rings, all of which are in excellent, practically unworn condition and may be new old stock. Circa 1930s, British in origin.
