Stunning Art Deco panel ring with intricate pierced and engraved design. A round brilliant diamond is bezel set in the middle of an elongated rectangular shaped panel. A swirling design is pierced to the top and bottom of the diamond, flowing toward the outer edges. A faceted bead, meant to look like a diamond, is set on either side of the diamond in a geometric triangle shape. The entire top is engraved with a stunning ornate beaded design and lined in milgrain. The outer edge of the rectangular top are softened with a slightly scalloped design.
My heart stopped the first time I saw this ring. It's delicate in design yet substantial in feel. The piercing is perfect and the engraving eye catching. This ring is Art Deco, circa 1920 - 1940s and is likely German in origin.
Diamond: round brilliant, measures 3 mm and estimated in setting as 0.10 carats, I / J colour, SI clarity.
Hallmarked and tested as 14 carat gold.
Size: UK - L; US - 5 3/4; EU - 16.25. This ring can be sized down to J / 4.75 or made several sizes larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures 8.8 mm wide by 13.7 mm across, and rises 4.2 mm high off the finger.
