Late Art Deco amethyst and white spinel daisy ring. A beautiful deep royal purple round cut amethyst is set in a platinum top bezel setting lined in milgrain beading. Set around the outside edges are round brilliant cut white spinels, each in a petal shape. The spinels are bead set within a platinum top and a milgrain beaded design outlines their shape, criss crossing along the top of this flower shaped ring. This ring dates to the late Art Deco period, circa 1930s - 1940s.

Amethyst: royal purple, round cut, approx 4.8 mm round and estimated in setting as 0.45 carats.

White spinel: 6, full cut, early round brilliant.

Hallmarks partially lost due to previous resizing. Reads ct & Plat. Tested as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
