Vintage 9 carat yellow gold bangle bracelet. This Art Deco era bracelet has a squared profile with a flat top and sides. It has a smooth, fluid look and is oval in shape, forming to the wrist so that it stays upright without spinning around. It's a classic piece, as easy to wear today as when it was crafted 97 years ago! This bangle bracelet snaps shut with a tongue in groove style clasp which closes with a pleasant audible click. An attached safety chain is present for piece of mind. Circa 1920s.

There is a small area of previous repair on the inside, close to the hallmark. Not visible from the outside. Shown in photos.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, 1920. This bracelet has a high carat, at least 18 carat, gild on it, giving it a bright finish.

Measures 5.8 cm / 2.3 inches by 5 cm / 1.97 inches in diameter. Inside circumference is 16.7 cm / 6.58 inches.

Measures approx 5.15 mm wide and rises 2.65 mm tall off the wrist.

Weighs 8.15 grams.
