Vivid synthetic ruby pendant bezel set in 18 carat white gold. This pendant is an incredible colour. The asscher cut lab created ruby is set at an angle in a slender white gold bezel lined in very fine milgrain beading. From the top is a stationary loop for hanging from a chain. Circa 1920s - 1930s.

Ruby: synthetic / lab created, approx 9.2 mm and calculated in setting as 3.80 carats. Lab created gemstones share the same properties as natural gemstones and are simply created in a lab, a processed which was developed in the Edwardian era.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold, which is white in colour.

Measures approx 14.95 mm / 0.60 inches tall including the bail by 10.3 mm / 0.40 inches wide.

Weighs 1.2 grams.
