Stunning icy blue antique aquamarine earrings in 15ct gold. These drop earrings are formed of six bezel set aquamarines lined in milgrain beading. They are slightly graduated in size and the line of gemstones swings gently from a hook for pierced ears. The aquamarine are a wonderful colour, visibly blue in colour, not too pale or light, and the gold mounting really sets them off. Circa early 20th century.

Aquamarine is the birthstone for March and Romans believed wearing it helped to protect protect people crossing the sea.

Stamp on the back, professionally tested and assessed as 15 carat gold throughout which is yellow in colour.

Measure approx 36 mm / 1.42 inches in length by 4.3 mm wide.
