Stylish Victorian turquoise and gilt drop earrings. These earrings just feel so modern with their clean lines and sleek flared shape. Articulated sterling gilt ear wires attach to a golden arrow shape atop which an intricate arch sits. These lead to another pointed design on one direction with two in the opposite direction below that. Between the bottom two shapes is a bezel set reconstituted turquoise gemstone. Circa mid to late 19th century, 1860s - 1880s.
Turquoise: reconstituted, measuring approx 9.7 mm by 7 mm.
Gilt metal. The ear wires are sterling silver gilt and the bodies are gilt metal.
Measure approx 43 mm / 1.7 inches long by 16 mm / 0.63 inches at widest point.
Weigh 5.1 grams together (approx 2.5 - 2.6 grams each).
