Antique sterling silver fancy link chain. Puffed scalloped edge links with star cut outs alternate with rolo style links. Circa late 19th century.

Measures approx 36 cm / 14 inches in length by 7.9 mm wide. There are two large, plain links about 5.5 cm / 2.25 inches from one end. This would have originally been worn as a watch chain and that's part of the original design. This is too short for any but the smallest necked people to wear as a necklace. It might wrap around the wrist twice depending on wrist size. It would best be used to connect to another chain to form a longer necklace.
