Incredible antique 9 carat gold dangle earrings dating the late Victorian era. These earrings feature a puffed five pointed star at the top which, when worn, would sit right at the base of the earlobe. The bottom large pear shape is articulated and has a stylish frame of double points with a large, bold foliate style at the base. To the centre of this frame is an elongated faceted teardrop. The teardrop is articulated and swings inside it's polish gold surround.
These earrings have it all! Sweet stars, faceted panels to catch the light, and a wide gleaming frame of gold with sculptural details. These earrings date to the late Victorian era, circa 1870s - 1890s, and are simply fantastic.
