Gorgeous antique 15 carat yellow gold cuff links. These Victorian cuff links are double faced, each side hand engraved with a lovely scrolling design. The faces are marquise in shape and connected by large figure 8 style links. 15 carat gold was a gold standard in Britain between 1854 and 1932 and is getting more difficult to find. These links are fully hallmarked for 1892, late 19th century.
In good condition. Minor scratching markings to backside of one. One mark is likely a testing mark and the other, which is faint script writing, is often found in older pieces which have been serviced or pawned at some point in their lives - jewellers scratch a small mark for ID.
