Wonderful twisted design antique style charm hook crafted in 9 carat gold. This piece is modelled on an antique hook that would have been found on a chain. We've taken broken antique pieces and melted down the gold so that we could make each of these hooks by hand. The wires are bent around in a beautiful shape with a ball on the end and a jump ring at the top through which a chain can be added. We've altered the original Victorian design, shaping the wire into a pretty twisted style. The jump ring at the top swivels and we've made it so that it's very close to the terminating balled end and slightly fouls it when it's flat. This has been done on purpose, a feature to keep any pendants or charms as secure as possible. The gold is a light rose in colour and is made from Victorian and Edwardian gold.

This is a modern piece which we've made by hand, melting, milling and bending the wire. These are not cast pieces and the incredible skill of our jeweller can be seen in each piece! They are handmade and each will be slightly different and unique.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold with our assay mark.

Measure approx 27.1 mm / 1.05 inches tall by 11.7 mm / 0.46 inches wide.

Each pieces weighs approx 1.5 grams.
