Antique sterling silver trombone link chain. Elongated oval links measuring around 18.7 mm long alternate with much shorter oval links. At 43 cm long this is a great, wearable length. One end of this chain terminates at a non-swivelling dog clip and the other as a large jump ring. The dog clip can be slotted into any of the links so this chain can be worn in a lariat style. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.

Lion hallmark for sterling silver on the links. Marks on dog clip are worn. Professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver throughout.

Measures approx 43 cm / 17 inches in wearable length. Long links are 18.7 mm / 0.75 inch long by 6 mm / 0.25 inches tall.
