Vintage sapphire and diamond cluster ring designed as a flower. This stunning ring is set with a beautiful royal blue round cut sapphire. The sapphire is framed by a beaded outline of a star with a diamond set between each of the star's six points. The diamonds are very sparkly and the milgrain beading adds even more! The gemstone set top is white, which brings out the whiteness of the diamonds and contrasts with the blue of the sapphire. This rings shoulders are also topped in white before leading to the domed profile yellow shank. Circa 1900 - 1920s, British in origin.

Sapphire: royal blue, approx 3 mm, 0.11 carats as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Diamonds: 6, single cut of approx 1.5 mm each to total, 0.09 carats, near colourless and eye clean as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold throughout.
