Brilliant red ruby and diamond antique engagement ring. A wonderful bright red round cut ruby is framed by an old mine cut diamond halo. Each diamond is an old mine cut diamond with a high crown and open culet. They surround the ruby which looks incredible in the contrast of the white diamonds. The band is a simple, sleek 18 carat yellow gold which tapers and curves up slightly, showing off it's precious prize gemstones. Circa 1900s, British in origin.

Ruby: brilliant purplish red, round cut, approx 3.1 mm and calculated in setting as 0.10 carats.

Diamonds: 8, old mine cut, approx 0.28 carats total diamond weight, J - K colour, VS2 - SI1 clarity.

Hallmarked as 18ct for 18 carat gold and tested as such.

Size: UK - P 1/2; US - 8; EU - 56 1/2. Sizing available for an additional fee. INCLUDES RESIZING to 8.75 (8 3/4).

Measures 7.6 mm wide and rises 3.52 mm tall on the finger.
