Gorgeous antique ruby and diamond engagement ring.  A pinkish-red ruby is set in the middle of a six petalled diamond daisy.  Each of the diamonds is an old mine cut.  The edges of the ring dip in a lot between each diamond accentuating the daisy shape.  The daisy cluster is held above the finger with a pretty pierced arch design on the side.  A simple gold band, wide and sturdy at the back and tapering toward the top where the gemstones are set completes the look.  Circa 1900, European in origin.

Ruby: pinky-red round cut, approx 0.12 carat calulated as setting permits.

Diamonds: 6, old mine cut, approx 0.30 carats total weight.

Hallmarked 18ct and tested as 18 carat gold.

Measures 8.35 mm wide and sits 4.2 mm tall on finger.
