This ring is beautiful solitaire style Art Deco diamond engagement ring. A centre European cut diamond is set into triple claw, fishtail style prongs. This style, popular throughout the 1920s and 30s helped to protect the diamond and made it look larger by framing it. The cente diamond has a beautiful and blocky flower pattern. The diamond has a small table and medium open culet and a very even facet pattern.

On either side of the keystone diamond, set into the band, are two old single cut diamonds. The accent diamonds are pave set into a rectangle shape with a small pierced design on either side of them. The shank is simple, narrow, and unadorned allowing the focus to remain on the diamonds. Circa 1920s.

Diamond: centre diamond is an old European cut diamond measuring 5.3 mm and calculated in setting as 0.44 carats, J colour, VVS2 clarity. The 4 side stones are estimated as 0.06 together.
Total carat weight of this ring as estimated in setting is 0.50 carats.
