Antique purple paste long guard chain dating to the early 20th century. The long silver plated chain is bezel set with 12 garnet coloured glass stones. One end of the chain terminates in a large spring bolt style clasp and the other in a dog clip. Circa 1910s - 1920s.

This a long chain which can easily be worn as a double or triple length chain or with one clasp passed through the other to create a dangling pendant holder.

Measures approx 156.75 cm / 61.75 inches long. 5.4 mm at bezel set paste.
