Beautiful opal single stone ring set in an 18 carat yellow gold double claw setting. An oval shaped cabochon cut opal is simply set in a delicate setting. A narrow yellow gold band keeps the overall look very simple and the focus on the opal. The opal shows mostly reddy orange play of colour with some green and blue and really packs a punch for it's size! Dates to the 1900s, European in origin.

Marked 18ct for 18 carat gold and tested as such.
