Antique five stone diamond ring in a lovely graduated design. The old mine cut diamonds are super sparkly and are set in a graduated bezel setting. The diamonds have very high crowns and very small tables with large open culets. Each of the five diamonds are held in a delicately lined milgrain beaded collet. This two tone ring is platinum on the top, for the bezel, on a slender tapered gold shank. A classic, this ring would make an excellent engagement ring or wedding band, depending on what other rings or band it's paired with. Circa 1890s - 1900, British in origin.

Diamonds: 5, calculated as 0.23 carats total weight, K/L colour, VS2/SI1 clarity within the limits of the mounting.

Faintly stamped, partly legible as 18ct. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the claw tips in platinum.
