Pretty antique diamond horseshoe pendant. Twenty-one old European cut diamonds are set in an elegantly curved horseshoe design. The diamonds are slightly graduated in size. Even the smallest of the diamonds are full European cut (not single cut) which is rare at this size! Each diamond has a small open culet and a high crown - I just love this cut, it's super sparkly. The diamonds are set into shared platinum claws and the solid back, which touches the skin, is yellow gold, a taper to the design means that from straight on the pendant appears to be all white. Circa 1900 - 1910 diamond horseshoe.
In very good condition. Probably a conversion. A couple of the diamonds have minor abrasions, not visible to the naked eye.
