Unique heart padlock ring dating to the early 20th century. How sweet is this beauty? A medium width band has loops on the terminating ends and a heart padlock threads through these loops and secures. A little lever on the right side of the heart pulls down the loop at the top of the heart unlatches to allow the heart to be opened and closed. Once opened it comes completely out of the loops, though remains attached to the band by a chain. This is a wonderfully unique ring, the heart dangle is just adorable! Circa 1910s - 1920s, British in origin.

Stamped 9ct in the band and on the heart, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is rosy in colour.

Size: UK - Q to Q.5; US - 8.25 to 8.5; EU - 18,2 to 18,5. Because of the gap at the front where the band isn't connected there is a bit of leeway in this ring's size. This ring is not suitable for resizing, resizing would be incredibly difficult to get the sections to line back up so that the heart padlock would correctly secure.

Measures approx 3.8 mm wide at band. Heart is approx 14 mm tall.
