Add to WishlistThis is a wonderful five stone diamond ring dating to the early 20th century. Five old cut diamonds which are graduated in size are set in platinum topped bezel settings. The diamonds flow gracefully across the finger to the unadorned bright yellow gold band. The diamonds are set a bit above the finger with simple, pierced sides allowing a lot of light in and focus to be kept on the diamonds. This is a lovely, classic ring which is suitable as an engagement ring, wedding band, or to wear on it's own. Circa 1910s - 1920s, British in origin.
Diamonds: all old cuts. The centre diamond is approx 3 mm and calculated in setting as 0.10 carats. On either side are approx 2.75 mm diamonds, estimated in setting as 0.07 carats each. The diamonds on the end are approx 2.2 mm and 0.04 carats each. All are J / K in colour and VS2 - SI2 clarity.
Total carat weigh is estimated as 0.32.
Hallmarks and tested as 18 carat gold.
Size: UK - M; US - 6 1/4; EU - 52 1/2. This ring can be sized down to L / 5.75 and up several sizes. Sizing is available for an additional fee.
Sits 3.97 mm north to south on the finger, and diamonds are 15.25 mm east to west across the finger. The ring rises 3.4 mm high off the finger.
