Antique floral seal crafted in gold tone metal. Seals are just the best things! Little messages from another time. Can you imagine getting a letter sealed with one of these? You'd immediately know who it's from or what it's about. The base of this fob is set with a reddish orange chalcedony gemstone which is carved with a bouquet of flowers. But this bouquet is a bit different! A thistle for Scotland, a rose for England, and a clover for Ireland all tied together with a ribbon. The top of the setting is adorned with a feather theme with a loop for hanging from a chain. Circa early to mid 19th century.

In good condition, minor age related wear to the metal.

Measures approx 24.5 mm / 0.96 inch tall and 16.3 mm / 0.64 inches by 14.9 mm / 0.60 inches on the bottom.

Weighs 4.6 grams.
