Antique French sterling silver long guard chain. This fancy link chain has a lovely design. Larger links are circular in shape with an X criss crossing the link. Shorter rounded links are engraved with a ridged design and the connecting links are smaller, oval links. Each end of the chain is attached to a larger terminating jump ring which is also attached to a large spring bolt clasp. The bolt clasp can be used to hold pendants, lockets and charms. Circa 1900s - 1910s, French in origin.

Marked on the terminating jump ring with French marks. Tested as sterling silver.

Measures approx 152 cm / 60 inches long, and is 5.35 mm wide at widest point.
