Antique French Diamond Cluster Engagement Ring. Rose Cut Diamond in Target Design Setting, Circa 1900s.
Add to WishlistA beautiful French antique diamond engagement ring set with a rose cut diamond. This ring has been crafted in a target style with a circle outline of diamonds around the centre stone. The outside halo of diamonds is pave set into a white gold top. An engraved beaded design between the diamonds gives the initial impression that there are more diamonds in the setting than the 10 which are set there. A fine row of milgrain beading runs around the inside edge. The centre diamond is a rose cut and is set in a buttercup style setting, held aloft from the finger in a little flower design. Down the shoulders is a leaf shaped design leading to a simple yellow gold band. Circa 1900s - 1910s, French in origin.
