Antique amehtyst and cultured pearl gem set small fly pendant. This sweet bug is is set with a beautiful oval cut purple amethyst in a bezel setting. The abdomen is formed of a cultured pearl. The pairs of wings are set with split pearls which are graduated in size.

This piece came to us as a pin and we've converted it to a small and wearable pendant. Circa late 19th century fly.

Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.

Measures approx 1.37 cm / 0.54 inches tall not including bail by 1.84 cm / 0.72 inches wingspan.

Weighs 1.5 grams.
