A beautiful five stone diamond engagement ring.  Five old mine cut diamonds are bezel or rub over set in platinum topped setting lined in miligrain beading.  The diamonds are graduated in size across the finger.  Each diamond is an old mine cut diamond, hand cut in the late 1800s with a slightly out of round outline, very steep crown, smaller table, and large, visible to the eye open culet.  This is a classic and sparkly look, easy to wear as this ring is set low to the finger with the diamonds in protective bezel settings.  Circa 1880s - 1910s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 5, old mine cut.  Centre is calculated in setting as 0.32 carat, 4.25 - 3.8 mm, J / K colour, VS clarity.  Two diamonds are approx 0.11 carats each, 3 mm each, and two are approx 0.08 carats each, 2.2 mm.  Accent diamonds all I - K colour, VS2 - SI2 clarity.  Total carat weight calculated as setting permits is 0.62.

Hallmarked as 18 ct & Plat.  This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with the very top edges around the diamonds in platinum.

Size: UK - K;  US - 5 1/4;  EU - 50.  This ring can be sized down to J / 4.75 or up to P / 7.75.  Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 5.1 mm wide and rises 4.16 mm tall on the finger.

Weighs 2.7 grams.
