Antique Edwardian 9 carat gold locket. This gold locket is wonderful size! A slender gold edge holds the glass covering with their bevel edges which keep their secure within the gold locket edge. This piece opens at the top by twisting the screw top bail. The interior is a good size for a couple of photographs or a lock of hair. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1906.

Measures approx 33.3 mm / 1.3 inches tall by 22.8 mm / 0.90 inches wide by 2.5 mm / 0.1 inches deep.
