Lovely and elegant antique diamond engagement ring.  This diamond ring features 13 diamonds set in a square shape, turned on it's corner.  The centre diamond is an old mine cut diamond which is bead set.  Around the outside edge are 12 roughly cut rose cut diamonds which are pave set between two rows of miligrain beading.  The shoulders of this ring are decorated in a wide shaped design before immediately tapering down to the much narrower band.  This ring sits very low to the finger.  Circa 1900s, European in origin.

Diamonds: 13 total. Centre old mine cut and 12 rough rose cut diamonds.  Estimated in setting as approx 0.15 carats.

Hallmarked 18ct.  This ring is 18 carat yellow gold.

8.7 mm wide and rises 2.34 mm off the finger.
Weighs 1.65 grams.

This antique ring is is overall good condition and can be worn daily for many years to come.  It does, however, show it's age a bit.  Light pitting can be seen to solder joins upon close inspection.  This will not pose a problem if treated with care, as with all jewellery.
