Victorian five stone diamond ring in yellow gold. This very small sized ring contains five round diamonds which are graduated in size. The shoulders slope down leading to a plain shank. On the side, underneath the diamonds, this ring has been decorated with pierced filigree. The design is a scrolling, looping pattern. Circa 1870s - 1890s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 5,  mixed cuts from old mine to brilliant - possible replacement diamonds, approx 0.25 carats total weight, I / J colour, VS2 - I1 clarity.

Not hallmarked, tested as 18 carat gold.  The shank is a slightly different colour than the top indicating that this ring has have been reshanked at some point during it's life.

Size: UK - H 3/4; US - 4 1/4; EU - 47 1/2. This ring can be sized between G / 3.5 and L.5 / 6. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 4.34 mm wide and rises 3 mm tall. Diamonds are approx 11.7 mm across the finger.
Weighs 1.85 grams.
