Antique diamond four stone diamond ring. Four glittering diamonds are bezel set in platinum edge and lined in milgrain beading. The diamonds, dating to around the 1920s, are a combination of old European cut and very early brilliant cut diamonds. The centre two diamonds are the largest with smaller diamonds on the outside. It's unusual to find four stone rings. They were in vogue during the late 19th to early 20th century and I like them because they sit nicely with other rings, allowing even a single stone engagement style ring to stack nicely! Circa 1920s, British in origin.

In very good condition, some slight thinning to the band in keeping with normal age and use for a 100 year old ring.

Diamonds: 4 total, old European cut and early brilliant cut to total 0.26 carats together, H / I colour, SI2 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as primarily 18 carat gold, which is yellow in colour, with the bezel edges in platinum.

Size: UK - R.5; US - 8.75; EU - 18,8. This ring can be sized between M / 6.25 / 16,7 and U / 10 / 19,7. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 3.7 mm by 13.55 mm on top by 3.2 mm rise off the finger, 1.45 mm band at back centre.
