Antique cushion cut amethyst set in 18 carat gold. These earrings were part of a stash of multicoloured gemstones we found which date to the Victorian era. The bezel set beauties probably started life as part of a harlequin fringe necklace which has long since been dismantled. We've converted the pieces we have to earrings and pendants by making matching antique style gold findings. The dangles are original Victorian with pinched style sleek low profile gold bezels. Dainty gold ear wires complete them.

In good condition, some age related wear to the gemstone facets.

Amethyst: elongated cushion in shape, mixed step cut. Measure approx 7.9 mm by 6 mm by 3.68 mm, 1.3 carats by calculation, and 8 mm by 6 mm by 3.9 mm, 1.38 carats by calculation.

Measure approx 20 mm / 0.80 inches in length by 7 mm / 0.28 inches in width.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold which is yellow in colour.

Weigh 1.7 grams together.
