Simple and very useful 9 carat gold spring bolt clasp. This is a good sized clasp, medium doesn't feel like a great description but that's exactly what it is, medium sized! It can be added to a heavier chain to used as a clasp. It could also be threaded on a more slender chain to use to display a pendant or charm. The spring is in good condition, circa early 20th century, British in origin.

Stamps rubbed a bit but are 9 .375 for 9 carat gold. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold. The gold is a peachy colour, between rose and yellow gold in colour.

Measures approx 11 mm / 0.45 inches external diameter, 6.35 mm / 0.25 inches internal diameter.

Weighs 1.1 grams.
